Young People First Lambeth

In September 2010 we will be starting Young People First Lambeth this will be a new group for people with learning difficulties aged from 16 to 25.

This is a pilot group. We will be working with some of the most disadvantaged and multiply disabled young people and we hope to gain funding to make this a permanent group.

We will have a group where you can do whatever you want. We can do drama, art, keep safe, speaking up. We will be looking at what our rights are and how to be more confident.

You will also be able try our other groups, work on our newsletter and if you like have a go on our management committee. We will also help you to say what YOU want to managers of services for people with learning difficulties in Lambeth. We will have lots of things for you to try and do.

There will be a weekly group on Friday mornings. Once a month we will have a big meeting where young people come together and talk about what young people with learning difficulties need.
