People's Group

We started the People Group before Christmas 2009.

We do art there. It is a mixed group.

The group has been working doing different kinds of drawing and painting.

The group keeps getting bigger and it is a very friendly group, and it is a relaxing group.

Darren is very good at drawing. He is a very quick drawer.

He just gets on with it and he likes using different things to draw and paint with.

We had a young person start the group not long ago. She is just 17. She told me that it was very relaxing, that she enjoyed painting, that it was good to get out and that everyone was very friendly and helpful.

You don't have to do art in the group if you don't want to. You can just chat and talk and have a cup of tea, but everyone is doing art and it is going really well.

We have done a lot of drawing and painting and we need to have an exhibition one day so we can show all our work.
