Our Mission

People First Lambeth (PFL) is run by and for people with learning difficulties. We support people with learning difficulties to express themselves, to make informed choices, and take control over their own lives. We also support people with learning difficulties to make changes, develop their independence and be involved in the planning, running and evaluation of models of good practice in social and health care services. In addition we support people with learning difficulties to be actively involved in research and contribute to the national research community discussion on the subject of improving conditions for people with learning difficulties. People First Lambeth also supports people with learning difficulties to devise and deliver their own learning difficulty awareness training.
