People first Lambeth is an independent charity that support people with learning difficulties to speak up for themselves. We run self-advocacy groups for people with learning difficulties. We also do training programs for professional who works with people with learning difficulties and consultancies services.

Women's Coffee Mornings
Women's Coffee Mornings begin again once a month from September usually on the first Friday of the month. In September this will be Friday 3 September from 10.30 to 1. It's a drop in session so join us at any time. This will be a chill out morning promising fun, games, stories, art and relaxation led by Maggie and Donna.

Young People First
Young People First for under 25s will be once a month on a Friday morning. This will be a self advocacy group aimed at giving young people with learning disabilities in Lambeth a voice and a chance to try different things like speaking at The Partnership Board, writing for our newsletter, being a manager and working on People First's management committee. Monday morning Story Telling Group
Monday morning Story Telling Group at 336 Brixton Road this will run for 3 terms with the option of the last term being about Keeping Safe. The Autumn term will look at fairy tales which were originally told for grown ups. We will look at stories from all over the world. This is open to everyone and flexible begins on Monday 6 September in the morning. We usually begin around 10, but we can be flexible. Parents with learning difficulties
Parents with learning difficulties we continue to offer group and individual support fortnightly on Monday afternoons for mums and dads who have learning difficulties. We come back on Monday 6 September 1 to 2.30. On 11 October we will be hosting The London Network of Parents with Learning Difficulties Meeting from 12 until 2 with parents with learning difficulties from all over London.
